About Us

A Farm Built Around Good Farming.

Beau Goss Farmer is a growing poultry and livestock farm based in Midrand, Gauteng.

We raise and supply poultry, eggs, breeding birds, chicks and other livestock, with the farm developing as we learn, invest and expand our production.
For us, farming is hands-on. It means being there every day, knowing the animals we keep, paying attention when something changes and taking care of the small things that make a difference.
We are building Beau Goss Farmer step by step — with the aim of becoming a dependable source of livestock and farm products for households, farmers, resellers and small businesses.
Our Story

From Raising Animals to Building a Farm

Beau Goss Farmer started with a simple interest in farming and has grown into a broader livestock operation.

What began with poultry has developed into a farm working with different breeds and types of production, including layers, breeders, broilers, fertilised eggs, chicks, ducks, geese and rabbits.

As the farm grows, so does our understanding of what it takes to run it properly. We have learned that farming is not only about the animals you keep. It is also about feed, housing, breeding, incubation, hygiene, record keeping, planning and knowing when something isn't right.

There is still a lot to build, but that is part of the journey.

Our focus is on growing a farm that is productive, well managed and able to serve our customers consistently.

What We Farm
Poultry & Livestock

Our farm includes a range of poultry breeds and livestock, each serving a different purpose.
Broilers
Raised for customers looking for live meat birds.
Layers
Producing brown and white eggs for the market.
Breeding Birds
Selected breeds kept for breeding and the production of fertile eggs and chicks.
Day-Old Chicks & Fertilised Eggs
For customers who want to start or expand their own flocks.
Other Livestock
Our operation also includes ducks, geese and rabbits, with the range developing as the farm grows.
We don't try to make every animal do the same job. Different breeds and livestock have different characteristics, and understanding those differences is part of good farming.
How We Farm

The Basics Matter

There is no shortcut to keeping healthy animals.
We pay attention to the fundamentals of livestock farming — good feed and water, suitable housing, cleanliness, observation and sensible biosecurity.

Our birds and livestock are checked regularly so that problems can be identified early. Housing is kept clean and managed according to the needs of the animals, while movement between areas is controlled where necessary to reduce unnecessary disease risks.

Breeding and incubation also require careful attention. Fertile eggs need to be collected, handled and stored properly, while incubation requires the right conditions throughout the process.

We are constantly learning from the animals, from experience and from other farmers, and using that knowledge to improve how we operate.

What Matters to Us

We Conduct Our Business With Integrity

Farming involves trust.

Customers trust us with their money, farmers trust us to supply healthy livestock, and we trust our own processes to produce the results we are aiming for.

That is why we try to be straightforward about what we have available, what our products are suited for and what customers can expect.

We also believe that looking after animals properly is not separate from running a good business. Healthy, well-cared-for animals are simply part of doing the job properly.
And when we don't know something, we believe in learning rather than pretending we do.
Growing the Farm

One Step at a Time

Beau Goss Farmer is still growing.

Our plans include increasing poultry production, strengthening our breeding programmes, expanding egg production and developing our incubation and chick supply capabilities.

We also want to make it easier for other farmers and customers to access the birds, eggs and livestock they need, whether they are running a household flock, starting a small farm or building an agricultural business.

Growth for us is not just about having more animals.

It is about having better systems, better planning and the capacity to consistently look after what we already have.
